Here's my current convention and travel schedule for 2009. As with last year, this is an attempt to (hopefully) stem the tide of "will you be at [X Con] this year?" I'll be putting a link on the left side of my LiveJournal as well. This might change over the course of the year, so check back when it gets close to your convention of choice.

US South East Regional 2009 (Camarilla): February 26 - March 1, Atlanta, GA

Canadian National 2009 (Camarilla): March 19-21, Toronto, Canada

Wrestlemania XXV: April 3-5, Houston, TX

South Central Regional 2009 (Camarilla): April 16-19, New Orleans, LA

GenCon 2009: August 13-16, Indianapolis, IN

EVE FanFest 2009: October 1-4, Reykjavik, Iceland (plus LARP; all tentative)

International Camarilla Convention 2009 (Camarilla): October 29 - November 1, Atlanta, GA

I keep hoping for friends to come to Worldcon in Montreal at the end of August, but with it the same month as GenCon costs would very likely be too high.

Yeah, and it would basically mean I would be on the road every weekend for three weeks straight. :(

Hey! Houston is relatively not far from me, and as you'll be there on a weekend, there's a very good chance I'll be free.

And Dragon*Con...hehe. If I can get into SCAD, I might actually be able to go sometime. That'd be pretty awesome.

I'll try to remember to ping you for both. :)

Awesome. If you don't remember, no worries: I'm counting on being able to harass you on occasion in the future. :D

I look forward to it. :)

Dragon*Con is a dream for me right now. Exchange rates from Canada are too high right now.

Dood... You live just south of me, you're pagan, and liberal. How have we never met before?

Aww c'mon, you know the answer to that! We don't talk about being pagan out in the open here in good ol' Texas. Liberal is just one step away from that as well. ;)

More seriously: I can't afford to get out much, or I'm sure my wandering social patterns would've led me to cross your path at some point.

Naturally not, but I figured you'd have shown up at some of the secret meetings.

I know the feeling. Which is why most of my social participations involve hanging out at friend's homes.

BTW, do you mind if I friend you?

Go right ahead! The more, the merrier.

I'm kind of swamped these days, so the most secret meetings I have time to attend aren't really secret: the Blinn College Democrats are trying to figure out a time to meet up this semester as it is.

Heh. If you're in the Blinn College Democrats, then you probably know my ex, Teddy. It seems we'd have crossed paths eventually. How very cool.

Actually, yes I do. The world, she is small and gets smaller every day!

But Iceland may not be around in October :P

[insert snark about Iceland here]

No NERE in July? *sniffle*

I'm running the con. You should come. :)

Sadly, that's the con schedule I got for work.

That stinks. :/

*mock sigh* The NE is always the one left standing against the wall at the dance/the last one picked for dodgeball. I see how it is. :P

Yup. It's totally because I hate the NE.

Oh, woe! That explains the frozen crystals from the sky! 'Tis the frozen barbs of thine disdain for mine home! Alas and alack!

The snow is getting to me. And Winter isn't even half over. *cries*

Yay SCaRE!

I promised someone I'd get them kolaches if they came to SCaRE, and now I can't remember who.

I'll certainly see you at GenCon.

ICC is up in the air at the moment. I don't know if we will be invited as press or not this year.

Might see you up in Reykjavik.
